The 2023 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport launched three years ago and quickly it became a very popular SUV for buyers in Ontario, especially Northern Ontario. Although it shares its name with the larger, three-row Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport is more than just another version of the Atlas. Offered in multiple versions, the Atlas Cross Sport comes with a range of features such as dual-zone climate controls, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, panoramic sunroof, a large centre touchscreen, a wide range of advanced safety technologies, keyless access with push-button start, 20-inch wheels, and so much more.
The top-of-the-line model features technologies we often associate with luxury vehicles such as ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a Fender premium audio system, and so much more. All 2023 Atlas Cross Sport models get heated front seats, blind spot monitoring, a digital instrument cluster, and LED headlights.
Powering the 2023 Atlas Cross Sport is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with 235 horsepower. There’s also a more powerful 3.6-litre V6 with 276 horsepower. Both engines deliver on power with the turbo engine being a bit more efficient.
Inside the Atlas Cross Sport, there’s over 1,050 litres of cargo space with all seats in place, making the new VW midsize SUV larger than the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Edge, and Nissan Murano. There’s also plenty of space inside the cabin for both front and rear passengers.
